Just days after head coach Andy Reid told local media that Kolb is the starter, he changed his mind and will now start Michael Vick in this weekends game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Reid told the media yesterday "When someone is playing at the level Michael Vick is playing, you have to give him an opportunity, this isn't about Kevin Kolb's play. You're talking about Michael Vick as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL right now."
Kevin Kolb, the ex- starter of the Philadelphia Eagles is disappointed but remains optimistic about regaining the top dawg position in Philadelphia.
But he's going to have to fight it away from Vick, not in a ring, but on a football field. Kolb still believes he has a bright future in Philadelphia.
I don't think so, and neither will Michael Vick, after he puts some big numbers on the board against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
